Gel nails

I did my sisters nails and in my opinion they looked great! She was very happy with them as they stayed on for ages and they didn't chip like the first time I did them for her (I was a gel nail virgin so I didn't know what I was doing) so this time was my second time and with practice you will become better and better!

So firstly:

Push back the cuticles and cut them off because if they stay on then the gel will chip where they come in contact with each other and you don't want that!

Then secondly:

File down the nails so they are not smooth- the gel will not stick properly to smooth nails.

After that:

Glue the tips on (if you want to do tips that is) and file them down too so the gel will stick to them. Cut them to the desirable length using a nail cutter.

Then:

Paint the gel onto the nails by using a brush and then put your nails under the uv lights for about 5 minutes before repeating again for another 5 minutes with another layer.
After that is done put a uv topcoat (under uv light for another 5 minutes) and this should stop the stickiness. On top of that put some nail oil on the nails for finishing off them.

I never took a picture of my sisters nails but here is a picture of mine to show what they will look like at the end:

And that is it, simply as! I hope this helps people!

Gel nails!

I'm going to do a post about how to do gel nails as I have just figured out how to do them, I will take pictures of the process and I will actually do it on my sisters hands using tips so you can see just how easy it actually is!
Here are the nails I did today on myself and it was so much easier than I would of ever thought! I just did a French manicure but possibly on my sisters fourth finger I will do a colour just to see if it works well using colour as well as just the clear gel!

Garnier face wash final review!

So as I said in the post before I would update this and inform people who actually read this blog if I think it actually works.
To do this I have taken pictures so you can easily see the progress throughout.

So as we can see in the image above I do have quite a few spots, having one or two quite big, noticeable ones, which for a teenager can really get your mood down...
I didn't actually think the face wash was doing much at this point as it didn't look like my face was clearing up at all

Then the picture above was taken. Chances are I had some make up on but it is still noticeable that I have a spot on my chin, it was starting to get a little better as far as I could see!

Then there is this picture above. You can now clearly see that here I have no spots on my face (even though I was slightly sun burnt) and by this point I figured out that this face wash actually works!

So here is just a picture of my face just now, I only have powder foundation on to stop the shine so there is no make up on here to cover up the amazing results of this product! Also this picture is to compensate for the three other bad pictures that I just posted on this post! I would just like to say, yes, this is one of the best face washes I have ever used! It really helped me so much over the passed few weeks!

I hope that people actually read this and actually go out and buy this as it is really worth the money as it now the one thing that I cant go without on a daily basis.

Garnier PureActive - Review so far

My mum recommended me this face wash because she said it really works with her.

Thing is, I have been using it for about maybe a week and my face has just turned out worse. It makes me face really dry, so I don't know if it is the face wash or the "freederm" moisturiser that I am using with it that is making my face break out.
My mum did say that sometimes things had to get worse before they got better so I shall see how it goes for the next little while and see how it goes.
I don't have exams for the next week or so, so I might stop using the moisturiser and see if it is that that is making my face break out so bad.
I will take a picture of myself today and then a photo of me in two weeks to compare the results.

New to this

I have only ever blogged once in my life and that was for one of my Portuguese classes in Brazil and it was in Portuguese so anything I ever put on them probably didn't make any sense to anyone else but me.
I have always wanted to do a blog so i thought 'why not now?' So if I do start blogging regularly, enjoy!
